OneNav Multimedia

Reverse camera will switch on as soon as you go into reverse. The radio takes maybe 15 seconds to go to last used app radio or music etc. its quick. has 2 gig memory
15 seconds I can handle. (I'd imagine the reverse camera is a hardware thing - so separate from the OS).

I see the generic 7" is only 1Gb memory - wonder how badly it'll affect performance.

i was told get a minimum of 2 gig. 4 is ideal. The reverse camera get power from the reverse lights. So if you start the car in reverse the screen immediately switch to the reverse cam. This is very nice so while you reversing out the garage the unit starts up. by the time i am out the driveway the radio is on.

Also looked at the onenav and they are so expensive. I decided to get the black spider one

Cant remember all the features but here is the ones i like
Android and apple car play
can use the torque app
Tire pressure monitor
bt music
can load music on the unit
reverse camera
email
radio
sound it very good

No response from these guys so I guess OneNav it is.

Went with the OneNav unit - I'd give it a 6-7 out of 10 - perfect fit otherwise,

My issues are I find it a little sluggish on the Android Auto side, might be my phone though, its old Redmi Note 8 - and then the screen is a little dim at full brightness - and with the glossy screen and glare, its difficult to see Maps. I'm hoping a matt screen protector will help a bit.

(excuse my foot)
