OnePlus 7 Pro leak reveals "breakthrough" bezel-less display

Official marketing images of the new OnePlus 7 Pro have been leaked online, providing the first look at the device's "breakthrough" bezel-less display.

Pictures of the device posted by WinFuture show that the OnePlus 7 Pro will not feature a notch to house its front-facing camera, instead relying on a sliding mechanism similar o the OnePlus 7.
 
Looking forward to this bad boy! Going to cost though. The brand is growing up and with that comes flagship performance, in categories where OP has come slightly short historically. 5G, 90hz screens, in-screen fingerprint readers and pop up front facing selfie cameras are going to hike the asking price...
 
Looks pretty damned decent, but I still see a bezel, albeit a very small one..
 
Nice, but I am still happy with my OnePlus 5. Could be interested if the OP5 gets stolen or breaks.

90hz screen, mechanical pop up selfie cams and screen to boy ratio north of 90%? Seems a fairly unique set of features to me....

EDIT: could probably add in-screen fingerprint reader to that threesome making it a foursome...
 
As long as the price isn't too extreme, I'm probably going to be too tempted to not upgrade my OP6 to an OP7 Pro.

Looks like a Samsung. It's def not a new design and nothing ground breaking. Then again, unsure what people expect. Perhaps they want round of triangle screens :) If they upgraded the crappy speakers they had in their last phones, I might give it a go. I hope the 90hz screen doesn't have touch input lag of 100ms like the OP6.

$800 for the pro apparently! It's all grown up with an all grown up price tag!! I'd get one in a flash!!

Yeah, I think a phone with no bezel at all would look out of sorts. Also increases the likelihood of accidental screen touches. Nothing wrong with a paper thin bezel all round the screen but the screens that run over the edges are just weird to me! Warranted, I've never actually used a phone with one.

Except Samsung has a godawful hole in the front of the display. The OP7 Pro is the first mainstream device that effectively has no bezels. That's a decent achievement.

And it's being paired with the fastest Android firmware on the market. A match made in heaven.

I have an OP6. This thing is ultra responsive. If there really is touch input lag that is unusually high, then the merits of ultra low latency input are overblown by the brands that have it.

If the entry-level storage is 128GB or 256GB then it's a good deal. Sucks we've come so far from the $349 days, but my OP6 feels super polished and I can't hate on OnePlus pushing the envelope further and further.

R11.5k without considering shipping, duties and taxes is going to add up though unfortunately.

If the entry-level storage is 128GB or 256GB then it's a good deal. Sucks we've come so far from the $349 days, but my OP6 feels super polished and I can't hate on OnePlus pushing the envelope further and further.

Its no secret you're a oneplus fan. You're biased :)
Even your OP6 has touch input lag. A whole 100ms. And yes, you can feel it compared to a note 9 or pixel, especially when typing. Oneplus range has one of the cheapest digitizers available for phones. They have to save somewhere on costs.

This is my first OP, a 6T. And there is zero lag.

Apologies, touch input delay. You're right, it can hardly be justified as lag. It's 100ms compared to 50ms on certain other devices. Some notice it, some don't. Doesn't mean it's not there. I feel it and it's annoying.

You stay in SSW, feel free to meet up with me where I'll put my pixel next to your OP6t. You will quickly notice the input delay difference. Or maybe just use one of your buddies iPhones. You'll notice the responsiveness differs.

Honestly, it works great for me, no complaints.

I have an iPhone and iPad and I notice no difference.
