OnePlus 12.... really enjoying it... I say my 7T Pro is running beautifully but in reality, used next to the OP12, it feels very sluggish and stuttery. I've found myself checking my refresh rates more than once cause it feels like a 60hz phone next to the OP12...

I'm skipping the 12, playing with S24 Ultra, couldn't resist the deal I got.

Will definitely get itchy again when the 13 is out.

Getting a 2019 phone 6 years later? Not advisable. Even if some people are still using the phone today, they probably won't be for long. Software updates is necessary to keep one safe, ultimately.

By the way, I love my 7T Pro, in some respects it is the best phone I ever had.

thanks, valid points, am able to get a used one for R3k with a new battery, but the official OS support is definitely end of life it seems and the only way to update would be to jump to LineageOS. Maybe best to keep looking around for a samsung or nothing phone 1. Did the pop-up camera ever fail you?

The pop-up camera worked a treat. To this day. It is one of the reasons it is such a great phone.

If you have a new battery and you can install LineageOS, and you're only paying R3k, that sounds like a sweet deal. It is unlikely the processor or memory will be a bottleneck in day to day usage.

still using it as a daily and its still a great phone. I am not looking forward having to move my stuff over to a new phone when the time comes.

for 3k its a bargain esp if you can get Lineage working

So some software gremlins are starting to set in.
The previous bug where the audio stops working needs a restart.
Now also banking related stuff does not open and also needs a restart.

Nah, I passed, after checking the device, condition was not the best, wear and tear made me rather stay away, although device was amazing, hand feel, fluidity, screen quality, hard to believe the device is so old and can still stand its own against current generation devices. Life and other expenses got in the way, Decided to wait a bit and look around.

fair enough. I have been having some bugs with mine. I am wondering if a factory reset might help but then thats such a pian.
