After a week of shooting the Israeli couple in front of their children and various knife attacks that have killed a number of Israelis, now an attempted car bomb.

Woman bomber pulled up by traffic officer after driving 'suspiciously' near West Bank checkpoint.

A Palestinian driver activated an explosive device at a checkpoint in the West Bank Sunday morning, lightly wounding a police officer who pulled her over.

The terrorist herself, a 31-year-old resident of Jericho, was severely wounded, says Magen David Adom (MDA).

The Judea and Samaria District Police said that a traffic officer noticed a vehicle driving suspiciously on route 437, which connects Ma'ale Adumim and a-Zaim checkpoint. He signaled for her to stop by the side of the road, and when he stepped outside to inspect her, she exclaimed "Allah Akbar" (God is Great) and exploded her car. The wounded officer was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with reported burns to his face.

Route 1, connecting between the Adumim junction and a-Zaim checkpoint, was subsequently closed in both directions.

An MDA paramedic reported that the terrorist was conscious when she was evacuated to the hospital with burns all over her body.

Count how many have attacked Israelis to find out.

Oh look a 16 year old palestinian teenager was shot and killed- so happened he went on a stabbing spree beforehand.............but that's beside the point I suppose:erm::wtf:

Pathetic, typical responses from the same people time and time again.

Its good that finally they are not arresting these murderers. Pitty that the bomber was taken to an Israeli hospital.

there are no occupied territories, there are disputed territories captured from Jordan.
The bulk of the so called settlements is in gush etzion - a jewish area before the jordanians slaughtered them in 1948.

The PLO was established in 1964 with the aim of eliminating Israel - so what does the land captured from Jordan in 1967 have to do with the fact that palestinians are randomly attacking and killing Israelis.

The current spate of attacks is because the tolerant muslims dont want to let jews pray on the temple mount, that is it.

That's not the normal car bomb, you'd normally expect.

According to everyone but the Israeli government the territories are illegally occupied, not 'disputed'.

I disagree. You cannot just divorce the history of the region from current events. The conflict in the region has been too visceral, too personal and too real for everyone involved.

Especially in light of Netanyahu approving more settlement expansions there just a few months back.

It's why there will be no end to this conflict. South Africa, despite all our flaws, did an amazing thing. The "oppressor" acknowledged their fault. There's no greatness in oppressing other human beings. Holding down their potential and hindering their experience on this world. There can be justification for this based on your own interests. Keeping your people safe. And the prerogative needs to go both ways. You don't deserve freedom if you want to use it to abuse others. And this thing will never find a balance until one side sacrifices it's own interests. Back and forth it goes with neither willing to make this gesture. And neither ought to. People should separate and align with their own beliefs. The solution doesn't involve bringing people closer together.

Maybe if the Arab nations hadn't tried to wipe out Israel multiple times, they wouldn't have got their a**es handed to them and their territory captured. Just a thought.

I see all the same old patterns we suffered under apartheid - oppression, racism, propaganda and media manipulation (skewed 'facts'), fabrication of stories, use of agent provocateurs to incite violence etc etc.
 
A short while ago another 3 Israelis attacked and stabbed in central Israel:

According to MDA paramedics, a 19-year-old woman was seriously wounded in the attack as well as a 14-year-old girl who was moderately wounded, and a 20-year-old man whose condition was not immediately clear.

The seriously wounded woman was transported to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa for treatment and the other two victims were admitted to Hillel Yafe Medical Center in Hadera.
