IDF uncovers new Hamas attack tunnel

Engineering forces yet to find exit shaft of the tunnel inside Israeli territory, but the tunnel's path is heading towards the Eshkol Regional Council; 5 mortars shot within 30 minutes from Gaza at IDF forces - no injuries.
Shortly after the announcement, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) shot five mortars over the space of 30 minutes. IDF tanks returned fire on PIJ observation posts in Gaza.

Qatar is said to currently be mediating between Israel and Hamas to restore calm. The head of the Qatari delegation for the rehabilitation of Gaza, Mohammad Amadi, said that there are contacts between Israel and Hamas to deescalate the situation. According to him, the discussions are proving fruitful.

Shopping centre attack in Tel Aviv

Three people have been killed and six wounded in a shooting incident at Israel's largest indoor market, in Tel Aviv.

Police said two attackers were in custody; one of them is undergoing surgery in hospital.

The attack took place at Sarona Market, which houses shops and restaurants.

Tel Aviv police chief Chico Edri called it a "pretty serious terrorist incident" but said fears of a third attacker were unfounded.

The attack took place at around 21:30 (18:30 GMT) in an area which is close to Israel's defence ministry and main army headquarters.

Video footage showed crowds running from the scene and ambulances arriving. Pictures showed upturned tables and chairs at one restaurant.

One woman told Israel's Channel 10 TV that she had been celebrating her son's birthday when she heard shots and "immediately understood it was a terror attack".

"We ran like lightning with the baby and the stroller," Meital Sassi said. "I yelled at people, who didn't understand what was happening, to run."

"Two terrorists arrived at the complex and while firing, and to our regret, nine people were injured to different degrees," Mr Edri said.

"Of the two terrorists, one was arrested and the other wounded by gunfire. The weapons they were carrying have been seized."

Ichilov hospital, where the injured were taken, said three critically wounded people had died.

It is not clear who carried out the attack. However, there has been a rise in Palestinian attacks on Israelis since last year, with a series of shootings, stabbings and car rammings.

The number of incidents has dropped in recent months.
 
Four killed in shooting at Tel Aviv nightspot

Two Palestinians opened fire at a popular Tel Aviv nightspot near Israel's military headquarters on Wednesday, killing four people in one of the worst attacks in a months-long wave of violence.

The shooting spread panic, and video posted on social media showed a uniformed officer firing a handgun, though his target could not be seen.

Police said one of the attackers was arrested, while the other was wounded by gunfire and undergoing surgery.

Five people were wounded in addition to the four killed at the Sarona Market in Israel's commercial capital, police said.

Asaf Bar, one of the wounded victims in the attack by two Palestinians at the upscale Sarona market, narrowly escaped the harrowing experience with his life intact.

Bar and his girlfriend were sitting at the Max Brenner cafe when the nearby terrorists opened fire in their direction. Bar was shot in the head and wounded, but he miraculously survived and stayed conscious throughout the terrifying events.

Attempted stabbing attack against Israeli in Nablus

A terrorist attempted to stab an Israeli in the West Bank city of Nablus Friday afternoon, according to an IDF statement.

There are unconfirmed reports that the suspect in the incident was shot and apprehended.

The military has opened an investigation into the event.




The incident comes on the heels of a deadly terror attack in Tel Aviv earlier in the week in which four people were killed while patronizing a popular outdoor shopping center. At least 16 others were wounded in the shooting attack.

Attempted knife attack on IDF soldiers threatened, attacker neutralized

On Friday night, an attacker attempted to stab IDF soldiers outside the Shomron Regional Brigade. The soldiers prevented the attack by shooting the perpetrator, and no IDF injuries were reported.


The attacker arrived riding a bicycle. He approached the guard post, dismounted his bike, and rushed at the Nahal soldiers present. They shot him and succeeded in neutralizing the threat

Palestinian terrorist stabs 13 year old Israeli teen girl to death in bedroom

A Palestinian terrorist stabbbed a 13-year old to death in her bedroom on Thursday morning after he infiltrated the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba, which is located next to Hebron.

A Magen David Adom paramedic said that when he arrived at the scene the teenage girl, Hallel Yaffa Ariel, was unconscious and was not breathing. They were able to resuscitate her at the scene, but the it was touch-and-go during the whole journey to Sha’are Tzedek Hospital, as they continuously fought to keep her alive.

She was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival, without ever regaining consciousness.

Border police said that the female assailant approached officers stationed at the holy site and suddenly pulled out a knife, attempting to stab at least one guard.

Border police officers responded quickly, shooting the alleged suspect and halting her progress. The suspect later died of her wounds.

This is the bloodlust that Israelis face every day. No doubt this murderer will be paraded through the streets of Hebron as a hero as soon as his body is returned.

It's disgusting, I mean firstly why?
It's as if Israeli youths break into Hebron to kill Palestinians for fun!
I guess as they have tightened up security everywhere else, they now going for soft targets.....
What next? Somebody hiding in the toilet waiting for someone to enter so they can be stabbed?
