Hi there

I have five contracts with Cell C. The first four I originally did instore, no problem.

In Feb & March I took two contracts online, a new R79 control chat100 for me and an upgrade to my wifes one also control chat100 for R79.

Guess what, since then I have been billed for cashual100 for R100 for my contract and R100 for controlchat 100 for my wife's contract.

My first complaint was on 10 March for my contract, up till now after numerous phone calls, it is not resolved, bah.

Complaint about my wife's one also, no joy.

I was so frustrated and went to my bank and ask them to reverse my debit order.

Then I did a recon on my accounts. I then did an EFT to Cell C and faxed through the recon and proof of payment to Cell C.

Now, all of my daughters & wife's airtime have been suspended. Cell C you big bully.

You guys will make any loyal paying customer look for other options.

Everytime I phone, the answer is "The query has not been resolved yet"

Regards

Jack

I also had no problems when I only had one contract with Cell C. As soon as I took out a second one the trouble started - allocating payments to the wrong account and then suspending both etc etc.
They even went as far as to try debiting the bank account that I was using when I originally took out my first contract, even though it had been closed for over a year and I they had been debiting my new account all that time. They did this while an investigation was in progress to try sort out what I actually owed and didn't owe, and the amount that they tried to debit was WAY more than what I owed. I cannot believe that they were within their rights doing this.

One thing I have learned is not to bother phoning the call centre - You will get more joy amputating your limbs with a teaspoon. Rather PM Lars and Armando - there are links to their profiles higher up in this thread.

A QUESTION

If I agreed online on a certain contract with a Cellphone Service Provider and a month down the line I find out they have issued me a wrong contract. Do I have the right to return the cellphone after using it and cancel my contract because after two months they have failed to resolve the issue?

Hi all

I would really like to express my gratitude to mybroadband.co.za for the opportunity to express my frustrations. It paid off. This morning I had a call from Thuto of Cell C. He asked me to explain to him the root of the problem. I did and he assured me everything will be sorted out and it was. He also asked me to not to hesitate to email him if I should have problems in the future. Now that was really galant. I even got a little bonus on top of it. Furthermore Ntombi in the escallation department of Cell C also gave me a call. She went through my contracts with me whilst on the phone and at the end I was happy.

Thank you mybroadband, thank you Thuto and Ntombi and thank Lord Jesus,

Regards
