Online Poker

Hi all

I need some advice please. I recently deposited around $36 into my Everygame account via Btc transfer and increased my balance to currently over $200 through various poker games. I am trying to withdraw $100 via Btc and they started off by asking for proof of identity, which I provided, they then asked for back and front pics of my card, to which I replied that I’m using Btc but still provided snaps of the card even though my specific card does not show the card number on the actual card.

They have now stopped communicating with me and have not responded to multiple follow up emails regarding the issue.

Is this site a scam? Is there any way of putting pressure on them to pay out?

Regards

Every game looks like a Casino or sports book.

They offer poker casino games, not poker against people, so not poker

But who on earth sends back side of credit card images…

asked for back and front pics of my card
dodgy AF, the only reason to ever ask for card details is to confirm if the card you are using is in your possession

which means it is completely nonsensical to ask for it if you didn't use a card / are not trying to use a card, how would they even know if you have a card at all?

that aside, even if you were trying to use a card, communicating sensitive cardholder data (such as the card number) over an unsecured channel in an unencrypted / unmasked fashion (such as a picture sent via email) contravenes PCI DSS rules and is literally not allowed, ever

most likely a scam or an operator who is just not trustworthy

if they do however process credit card transactions you can try to apply pressure if you find out which provider does their card processing and report all those details along with your email trail directly to Visa/MasterCard showing them that someone somewhere is wiping their asses with the contractual agreement they have in place with the card network

another potential avenue is to check their site for details of any gaming/gambling licenses and to complain to whichever authority granted their license (if any)
