However, when the facility was opened to a larger pool of taxpayers, "performance problems" with the system were noted
What I dont understand is why these guys announce to the media that it will be ready on a specific date before they've actually completed it.. Y not jst finish the bloody thing and test it before telling every1 that it will be available on so and so date... Saves a lot of blushes that way...
Indeed...on a recent project the project manager at first mentioned paying overtime but then later rejected it because "Some people might abuse overtime". WTF are you saying your tell is filled with liars and cheats?!?!They pay for it over time (thank the Lord)
Yeah...I agree 1 government department miles ahead of every otherAnyway good luck to SARS, they do seem to be one of the better run departments with the intention to make the taxpayers life simpler - with the ulterior motive of getting their money faster. Serious paranoia there mate.I signed up a few months ago and ran into an issue with the password mechanism. Using 512 character passwords(Should be hashed anyway or website and backend should stop 1) is not liked and I could not login. Mailed a few times but was still getting a toffee.
No, that was definitely not the reason for the establishment of sarsefiling.co.za, but whatever floats someone else's conspiracy boat is their own problem - especially when the conspiracy evaporates.Just a thought:

Just a thought

SARS can get hold of your banking details without e-filing. Secondly any real fraudsters will not be using the same bank account for undeclared income and tax refunds.
