HI,

I HAVE 2001 OPEL ASTRA CDE
LATELY MY AC STARTED TO TAKE OUT HOT AIR AND I TRIED TO CHECK ACC GAS AND IT WAS THERE.

WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

Well first you nedd to test your line attenuation and then you check SNR................ oh wait never mind, thought this was the ADSL discussion thread..................... my bad :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I SUSPECT HE ONLY NEEDS TO CHANGE HIS FILTERS, MAYBE INLINE 2 OF 'EM ...

/looks at the responses
/can't see thread location on cell

/assumes the thread is in the ADSL section & not by the tricycles & donkey carts

APART FROM CAP LOCK PROBLEMS - THE OP SEEMS TO HAVE AN OPEL THAT IS FALLING APART AROUND HIS EARS, JUDGING BY ALL OF HIS POSTS...:p

Instead of ripping the oke off.. lets help him. I happen to know why this happens with the Corsa/Astra

Its the pressure switch, that is installed in one of the aircon lines... My previous Corsa, the switch failed at 157000km. I made a modification to fix it permanently. Its a 10 minute job!

No sweat! Will do so...however, if you look back, this poor guy has an Opel that is definitely in need of a hell of a lot of work!! ;)

Ja the car needs serious work. I agree..
In any case he has been invited on two occasions now to PM me if he wants me to look at his car, I leave it now in his hands. He can also go to www.opelownersforum.co.za but they will be less likely to help someone who doesn't respond to offers of help.

Yup, I often wonder whether many requests for help are even re-read by the OP after he has posted them.

Maybe we should start by telling him how to find his started threads....

but then again he won't comeback & read this one.

Hey guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111

the stress is toooooo much on me.......................... I bought this car Three months ago n sudenly i am having this problems.

With the acc i will try what u told me......... Thanks guys.

With my previous problem I am about to solve it as all the answers i want i got them all.
You know the problem is this machanics who dont know their job, I nearly lost my car bcoz of R300-00 thing a WATER PUMP!!

I was forced to go to this Expensive guys the General Motors 1 because of water pump noise, I traveled about 100Kms at the end my water pump totaly fails.

The GM Charged me R1500-00 to strip the engine and find out what happened fortunately the Head Cylinder, The head block and Head gasket where fyne.

But it has damaged this other things, Valves, rings, bearings, pistins & cam belt.

Thanks guys..............GOD BLESS U

then a local machanic is charging me R2500-00 to assemble it

IS THIS REASONABLE?

Is the light on the AC button coming on when you push it? If it stays off then it could mean the aircon compressor died. You'll need to have a new unit fitted at Bosch.

Judging by all the problems this car is giving you I'd day you need to get rid of it and buy another with lower mileage on. Once an Opel starts giving this kind of problems there is no end to the tricks it will pull for its hat. Don't get me wrong, they are great cars, but they can go wrong and when they do it usually is not pretty.

Would you be able to help me with this?

I'm having the same problem with an Astra (2000/2001) I got from ze dad.
