Is the transponder in the key? Did you change the ECU or ignition barrel?

It would be an unfortunate coincidence if it were to happen that there's a problem with the electrical system and fuel injection, I suspect a case of over diagnosis which is when a DIYer diagnoses even perfectly functioning components as faulty. Don't fiddle too much with it if you've hit a brick wall, it's better to take it in to an electrician or mechanic.
