Opel corsa Lite Map sensor

Car is extremely heavy on fuel. Plugs foul easily, exhaust pitch black, even after a long drive
Have you checked all the vacuum hoses, that engine runs hot and there is a tendency of the hoses to split, specifically the map hose. How does it drive, any misfire you can hear?

Leaky injectors could also be an issue. But the map sensor is not expensive so you can give it a try, but be very careful about replacing original sensors on that car, it doesn't play nice with non OEM stuff.

Yes I have checked all vacuum hoses, especially the ones after the TB....all good. Car drives fine, no misfire at all, picks up rather quick for the engine size. I had one pipe underneath the throttle body that I couldnt figure out where it went to, its underneath, not behind or the rear of the TB. I just blocked it off. The one at the rear goes to the inlet on the map sensor

The infamous blue pipe?

Im assuming you talking about the thin hard plastic blue pipe going somewhere? I saw a piece of it in the car, but wasnt sure where it had top go
Yes, everyone who owns a Corsa has that pipe lose and no one knows where it goes. Mine is still connected on one end the other end was disappearing somewhere under the engine and lose.

The one underneath the throttle body is a nipple not really a pipe, right? Mine used to have a plug which also perished, I do believe blocking it is the right way.

im ust have looked at a gazillion pics trying to see where it goes. O know the one side goes to that thingy next to the battery. Other than that....pffff who knows. So regarding the richness....any ideas?
