Dear Afrihost

What a bumpy ride I have had with you guys. First off bringing out R29 per a GB all those years ago truly made you the darling of South Africa’s ISP’s. I remember not having to worry about being capped on 2GB on my old Telkom account.

There were a few ups and downs with your old uncapped. In fact recently when you guys moved over to MTN Business I wasn’t the most pleasant user towards you on Mybroadband.
However when I started to have issues with my then ISP; I took up your R1 offer for a business account. (Works out cheaper than what I was paying)

I was and still continue to be blown away, I have now moved over and so far quite happy with you 4MB Uncapped Business account. If the service continues like it is, I will bundle my Telkom ADSL line with you (even though I always said I would never do such a thing with any ISP)

Please stay being the innovator ISP that we all know you for, a lot of users including myself have renewed faith in you. Especially boosted by you running correctly even though a lot of international cable links are offline.
Users are only loyal to ISP’s who are loyal to them. Continue to treat us well and we will sing your praises from the mountains tops. Forget about us and we will move to greener pastures.

Love you guys and thank you for providing us now with affordable Business Uncapped products.
The reason I wrote this? I and others don’t want you to ever turn into other ISP’s that once “let out the internet”
All the best

Lino

Bravo Lino. Couldn't have put it any better myself.

I can vaguely remember the days of pulling my hair out due to SEACOM outages, days which are gladly only a memory. There have been a few niggles with the changeover to MTN Business but all in all I'm glad I didn't jump ship because it is all proving worthwhile in the end.

After how much bandwidth do u guys downloads get throttled on standard non business uncapped accounts?

Yup, got to say I am happy too that I stuck it out through all the issues. There have been some really bad days with the move to MTN and the ADSL auth problems, but these were sorted out.
Now with Seacom down, the Afrihost haters seem very silent.......
