OpenBrowse Authentication Server

We are currently experiencing a problem with the OpenBrowse authentication server.

Some users will get an: "Invalid Username and Password" error.

Engineers are attending to the problem, and should have it resolved ASAP.

Thanks for looking at the problem, but I'm still not getting any joy out of OpenRouter..

Click on login and the buttons go blank for a few seconds and then come back asking for login...

Weird.. I've tried resetting my PC and all and stll the same issue. Any idea?

I dont know if its related ... but I seem unable to log into openrouter, click the login button, both buttons grey for a moment and then reappear, and no matter how many times I try -nothing - related ?

Ok, the cause of the problem has been found

If you have an older version of OpenRouter installed, then the Invalid Username or Password error will come up.

Kindly download the latest version here:

Downloaded 0.08, seems to have done the trick

Just a note on the side :
While the added convienence is appreciated, perhaps a little more user testing should have been done before release, since in the last month you have gone from 0.03 to 0.08. While nothing beats real world testing, having to run beta software is not a great thing.

Remember : Make something idiot proof and only and an idiot will use it.

Anyway, at least its working and so am I (yay) ...

problem seems to be back, I'm getting "proxies fail test - proxies not available" when trying to log in.

I would send you an email mrBeep, but can't get to gmail,

Running version 0.08 router. Everything was running fine till 18:00, getting <1K on newsgroups now.

Please help
