Openserv /Afrihost Netflix

Hoesit ,
No, No VPN, Does it on Mobile (Android) and Browser (Windows)
Like i say, If I'm connected via my Rain sim it all works fine, and it's intermittent on Afrihost. Shows are there for a bit and then gone.
Like now the shows are missing again? I'll give it a few and then check again.

Odd... Does it do the same thing if you are using a private browser window? What dns are you using at the moment?

looks exactly the same as yours /.
except for the nighteye but that's just a dark mode addon. and ive disabled for the test

Howsit ,

I tried Afrihost \ Cloudflare \ google dns
Yes does the same , i tried with chrome and Vivaldi .
Sorry then I do not know, but my best guess (I could be wrong) is that the current ip you have is in a range or being reconized as being in that range netflix is shadow banning.

seems like the only reasonable explanation.. what range is your IP on OP? Maybe @AfriNatic can assign you a fixed IP and see if that helps

Morning,

Did you contact netflix support about the issue. If they can give you a reason why it's happening then we can take it from there.

No, not yet,
But as i mentioned,

If I do the same test using a Rain sim card, and a Telkom sim, It works fine.
If I test via Afrihost, then it doesn't work,

Ok so you guy's are on to something .

so is it fine now that you got a new ip? or does it revert?
Still comes and goes.
But it does look like its related to some of the ips.

For now today atleast its been behaving.
Will see what happens when loadshedding kicks in again. That's usually when the ips also change.

I dont wanna restart the router seeing that its working atm.

Lol dont fix if it aint broken. Ill fiddle again on Tuesday when the tvs aren't in use.

Hi,

I don't have a netflix account to replicate the issue so I tried getting one but didn't manage.

Please send me a pm again with your email and the IP addresses you had issues with so I can ask our Noc team to investigate the issue and send to Netflix.

Imagine spending R99 to help a client. Seems not even AH can even cover that...
