Good day

Can you please kindly assist with my order for an Openserve fibre line. I placed an order (AH4E4C56C5943C) on 21/11/2023 and there was an initial misunderstanding on my part regarding migration from Vumatel to Openserve, which was eventually cleared up. My Vumatel line is due for cancellation on 30/11/2023 and I have received no further updates regarding the Openserve installation. I was hoping for a seamless transition from Vumatel to Openserve and currently it does not seem like that will happen.

Hello.

The above was not cleared, Openserve order was still on Migrate and they were waiting for a service number to progress the order. I have changed to new installation and an order has been placed with Openserve and the installation lead time is up to 7 days.

This experience has turned out sour! Openserve technician failed to pitch up for appointment and I ended up cancelling the order. Do I have to place a new order to reinstate my Vumatel line?

You should have not cancelled, your order was still within the 7 days installation lead time. @Afrigirl could have worked on rescheduling the installation date for you.

Goodluck with reactivating your Vuma line.
 
Got really pi$#@& off when the technician called to confirm the appointment, cancelled claiming some sort of emergency and then rescheduled for another time. Failed to pitch up and rocks up today,unannounced at my place when I wasn't at home:mad:. Lost half a day because of this shoddy service. Already having issues with installation, wonder how service issues will turn out. I don't have the energy to deal with this kind of issues.

I am sorry to hear that. I am going to revoke the cancellation with Vuma but I am going to need to to sign up again because clientzone won't allow you to reactivate the line.

You don't have to sign up again, service has been reactivated.

I have cancelled it. Please note that your service will be off by midnight because there is no data link for December. I have requested the accounts team to bill you and you should have a data link allocated by tomorrow morning. I will let you know as soon as I receive feedback.
