OpenServe + ISP questions

Hi,

I have OpenServe fibre on month-to-month with the same ISP I installed with. I have a few questions on changing data provider:

Is it a matter of cancelling with the current ISP and signing up with another and entering that account?
Can I use any ADSL package over OpenServe fibre?
Is there a cutover fee?
If the installation was free, will I be billed for this by my current ISP on cancelling or does OpenServe offer/absorb the free installations?

Appreciate any other input on good value OpenServe + data combinations.

If you're on openserve you can use a data account from almost any isp, just enter the login details in your router.
There should be no fee changing isp accounts, some have 30day notice periods though.
Wrt to installation fee you need to look at whether there are contractual obligations like a 12/24 month contract, if there is there could be early termination penalties. Which openserve package do you have and when did you sign up for it as it might have been free at the time as it is with some of their current offers.

Any adsl account will work on openserve fibre

If your line & data are bundled... If you got your fibre on one of the 'free installation' offers just remember that openserve never charged the respective ISP for your installation - don't pay them a cent if you cancel.
