OpenSuSE 10.3 released

is there a major difference between 10.2 and 10.3??

From El Reg :

So what goodies come with openSUSE 10.3, you ask? A nicer look and feel, courtesy of the latest versions of the GNOME and KDE desktop interfaces, we reply. And let's not forget newer versions of Open Office and AppArmor security software, and MP3 support "out of the box".

And support for just about every virtualization software company that you can think of, and some that you can't.

Also, props to the new 1-Click Install option, which makes it easier for users to access all those lovely software packages hanging out at the openSUSE Build Service. 1-Click was built by a single openSUSE community member - there are 54,000 of them, which is quite a gang.

well, now I'm seriously pissed. I'd downloaded 2.6GB of this thing on Friday. Today when I resume the download, Flashget chunes me that the (source) file size is different and it therefore cannot resume. So I must download the whole thing again?! Fark that.

I dont like Linux a lot. Have too much problems with drivers and playing music + movies

I had the same grief as you, having experimented with RH5, Mandrake, Suse 10.1 and 10.2 and Ubuntu 5.10, 6.06. I installed Ubuntu 7.04 last weekend and had to make 2 changes to the source repository files and all the multimedia functionality works, including DVD's.

Quite a good version IMO.
