JayM said:You'd need to buy a 4MBit line, and that would cost a lot more than R20400. Probably add a zero to that figure. I was merely asking.

The issue is that I have requested said facts, but they are not forthcoming. The only reason assumptions are being made is because MrBeep won't answer a simple question.daysleeper said:this forum has a friendly feel to it. We all try and help each other and learn something new.
MrBEEP is respected here and has been offering these accounts for months now. So do yourself a favour and please check your facts before you jump to conclusions that allow other people to jump to further conclusions.
Play nice now!

100% correct. And I'd expect a business operating illegally or "on the sly" to be even less transparent. Note that I'm not saying Openweb is running in this manner.Turbo_Aspiration said:U cant expect a business to be totally transparent as to how it provides a service that is one of the main things setting it apart from the competition
You'd have to be dts to think he would ever give away inside info on how he manages to provide a worthwhile service to an open forum. Would you? Its like asking KFC for the secret recipe - quick - email the colonel and see if he'll hand it over.JayM said:All the evidence points to this theory, and none against it. Since MrBeep is not telling, surely we should assume the most logical option?
Everyone already knows how they're doing it. Why on earth would they "resell" AYCE accounts if they can buy the bandwidth cheaper? And why would they not admit why new signups for the service were suddenly stopped?bwana v.10 said:You'd have to be dts to think he would ever give away inside info on how he manages to provide a worthwhile service to an open forum. Next month should be the litmus test for you.

FTR, I'm not saying what they're doing is wrong, but they mustn't come along and claim to have a fantastic network which is providing this service, when in actual fact it's not their network.
