I love how this subject is slowly being pushed back into conversation.
As I said before:
WE CANNOT USE USAGED BASED ADSL ACCOUNTS FOR ANY OF OUR SERVICES. IT WILL COST TOO MUCH!
We go through about 30GB's a DAY. R680 * 30 = R20400
I would rather invest my money in Diginet or similar.

The issue is that I have requested said facts, but they are not forthcoming. The only reason assumptions are being made is because MrBeep won't answer a simple question.daysleeper said:
It is a well known fact in ISP circles that 30GB @ R680 is the cheapest bandwidth you can (or should I say could) buy in SA. No access via Diginet/Martis of the same throughput can be obtained for less money, unless you're talking about an illegal satellite connection or some other "stolen" bandwidth. So it would make sense for MrBeep to be using this 30GB offering and then running some sort of tunnel over an unshaped port, and onward selling it to his users.
All the evidence points to this theory, and none against it. Since MrBeep is not telling, surely we should assume the most logical option?

U cant expect a business to be totally transparent as to how it provides a service that is one of the main things setting it apart from the competition

Everyone already knows how they're doing it. Why on earth would they "resell" AYCE accounts if they can buy the bandwidth cheaper? FTR, I'm not saying what they're doing is wrong, but they mustn't come along and claim to have a fantastic network which is providing this service, when in actual fact it's not their network.
