Hi all,

I signed up for Openweb's Home Uncapped product about 3 or 4 hours ago. Still not activated.....

Does anyone have an idea how long this process normally takes? :erm:

Why, oh why??? Quick cancel it while you still can!

Can't cancel it now. Will have to give notice. Geez, is it really that bad for you guys? I've heard good things about them as well. It's like that with every company.

Now, on to my question please?

Too late, sorry. If you cancel now it will only run until end May 2015.

I phoned them and they told me to send an email to their Admin department. The lady on the phone said that I will not have to pay, and I have a recording of the phone call to prove it. I've also removed my debit order profile. Should I put a stop on it at the bank, just to be safe?

Yes, with this company that would be wise.

As a matter of interest, which ISP would you consider moving to after OpenWeb?

I won't consider moving anymore, TBH. The pricing and "Unshaped after hours" was what sold me with Openweb. I currently have a WebAfrica capped account, but I've noticed that torrents are abysmal during office hours and ease up at around 6pm - which shouldn't happen on a capped acc.

I use WebAfrica... but I only download after hours in their midnight to 6am download window.
That works fine for me.

Wow. You struck it lucky... or the woman had a brain fart. Wait. Lady? Keoma sounds like a lady now? :D
