Openweb account activation?

Well, I signed up for a capped account with openweb.

To my surprise, The accounts are limited to 10mbps speeds, on my 40 meg line, I get 9,39mbps download speed on speedtest.

They are complete ****ing crooks, all they do is steal peoples money. No two ways about it. Since WHEN does a CAPPED UNSHAPED account get limited to 10mbps ????

At least you're actually getting SOMETHING out of that line. All I get on this account is constant timeouts and absolutely ZERO throughput. Quite strange though. The first minute or so everything seems to be in perfect working order. Then all of a sudden - timeouts like you've never seen before. And they expect us to pay them for this crap? I was warned, and I didn't listen. Shame on you OpenWeb. Bunch of bloody thieves.

Well now, it seems they are having a MASSIVE issue with their DNS, hence the constant timeouts. After configuring Google DNS, the account seems to be running okay with little issues. (YouTube buffering, go figure)

They haven't invoiced me as of yet. I wonder if I'm obligated to pay them if they fail to send me a written invoice... :twisted:
