Mod_note: These threads are clearly designed/intended for customers to provide feedback to their respective ISPs - not for disgruntled former customers to vent, not for other ISPs to promote their services, etc - and, one hopes, for the relevant ISP to respond.

rpm has requested that threads not exceed 10,000 posts - it makes life easier for the DB.
 
Just want to give feedback on my situation of last night with my account not authenticating. Sent MrBeep a PM and he sorted me out; thank you MrBeep for the prompt service. I would still like to recommend though that you guys get a new usercp that allows us to fiddle around a bit and at least manage our sessions, check our IP, etc. For a good example of an excellent usercp, check Web Africa.

Had the same kind of problem, got an email back late at night on Tues and was sorted out yesterday... very prompt assistance. VERY IMPRESSED (needed to shout that out)

I can't even login to the userCP using my details... so I don't even know what it is.

There has been a new UserCP in the works for quite some time, along with the promise of line management. Looking forward to that.

Anyone know which of these accounts are better - Vanilla or Titan
What are the differences ?

I use the vanilla mostly for downloading and youtube - works great, will titan be any different

The rule of thumb is, the more you pay the better the service (higher priority, lower contention ratio).
 
Anyone having any issues atm? Pages taking ages to load and streaming is dead on openweb sent a mail to support but just wondering if I am alone or if there is a general issue somewhere.

I was given a 30GB account and have been using it during 8am-11pm until it runs out to give my uncapped star rating from another ISP a break. Although I wasn't klapping the downloads during the day, netflix would play no problem and the few times I tested with my private tracker torrents (which always give me line-speed on an unshaped line) and NNTP from usenetbucket gave me 420kB on my 4mb line.

Maybe it's the torrent (public torrents are like lucky packets) or your telkom infrastructure in your area? What speed do you get with other unshaped accounts?

I just dialed in with teamviewer and ran a torrent and NNTP one after the other:
