OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread (Pt2)

Am I going to be assigned another account or will mine be fixed?

Of course you'll be assigned another account. They cannot fix problematic accounts, like normal (higher tier) ISPs would.

Mickey Mouse charades.

What do your SAIX user stats look like?

Gamers King would have a higher priority, however, the Gamers King accounts are currently sold out :(

LOL you make me laugh dude...

Anyway, for those who said "I said my goodbyes" I didn't say I was leaving the forum, or this thread. I am actually very interested in this highly unethical business practice so I am not going anywhere *grabs popcorn*

It is patently obvious Mr Wright is playing a "duck" at the moment while the brown stuff spews forth from the fan that is hitting it. I have been with several ISPs, never has the internet been this unstable. I mean my MTN data is even far more stable and we know how crap MTN's network is.

I have another ISP lined up anyway... just waiting to get home to do the paperwork. But I am not going anywhere, I want to see the outcome of this.

OpenWeb requested that access to the IS user stats resource be blocked, about 2 months ago now. We were warned by MrBEEP.
Ohhh we have something to hide now then (said in Sherlock accent).

My tolerance for BS from service providers has begun to drop in recent months. Give me what I pay for and I won't complain much. If I catch you trying to shaft me, I will burn you publicly.

Paying R100 for 4Mbps Business at another ISP, compared to OpenWeb's pricing, only, it includes line rental, so a much better deal. Haven't experienced one ounce of shaping yet in almost 2 weeks.

Please share, before they go out of business.

The only thing I can tell you is that if I were to submit a support ticket right now, they would refuse to investigate or fix my account. No, they would simply assign me another one.

Where is cableguy anyway?

Yep, this pretty much sums up my experiences of dealing with OW tech support dept.

Newcomers, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM OW! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU A TICKING TIME-BOMB COMMUNAL OW ACCOUNT.

And so the "problem" of sharing and stars are solved :)

This thread is proof how SA consumers just don't care about getting what they pay for.

My torrent download speed at the moment (20h56) is only 36Kb/s. Ludicrous!!!!

Will definitely be changing ISP!
