BF2 needs some INT traffic to send data to the master server (ranks etc)

So if you have a LOCAL ONLY account, it won't work.

Try playing COD4 (let's not get on a debate now)
It's just that COD4 doesn't need INT access, only local.

you need routesentry

search the forums plenty info about it

also get a web africa local and not openweb

also get a web africa local and not openweb

Why Webafrica? They both use the same IS backbone?!?

Openweb / WebAfrica....at the end of the day you're buying the same underlying product...just service levels that differ. I don't know about WebAfrica but Openweb have excellent service!

no i find webafrica allows a little bit of int bandwidth on their local accounts

enough to verify bf 2

where as openweb has nothing, not even a hint of int bandwidth

i have seen more ppl play bf 2 online with webafrica local only
never seen it with openweb

Wrong info.............

It does work. Openweb seems to allow for this small portion of INT bandwidth in order to play online games.

I also use the 10 gig local only and play BF2 wit hit.

Even If I try and open an INT website, it opens..... it just takes a loooong time. It also seems to only be able to do this in burst. If I was to try and download a video clip on yuotube, I will get as far as 200k but no more. If I then try and download/open another clip, again only 200k odd size.

So yes............ it DOES work. You dont have to go and play COD4.

Rather go the routesentry route..

R70 WA prepaid int carries over, usually lasts me two months..

Chuckstar_za bringing you death by RT since 2005
