Hi Guys,

I think you guys are getting p!ssed at me for all my Openweb stuff, but this is the last one. I tried out a little bit online gaming (e.g. Counter Strike: Source), I had great ping (17ms), but the whole time my client is timing out. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? Is this to do with my Openweb 30GB local-only account?

Please and Thank You

Are you using an international account as well?

Because with a local only how is steam supposed to authenticate?

If you don't have international access, then Steam won't be able to validate you for CSS AFAIK.

With CoD4, you can actually force the connection to the validation servers to go through your local only account, because IS allow it.

If this isn't a Steam/Punkbuster validation issue, then I'd suggest that you continuously ping the CSS server to check if you don't have any packet loss on your line.

Thanks guys for your help.

Nah I think it is just a validation issue. O well?
