OpenWeb no longer supplying Gold accounts on VB backbone

Hi ,can anybody help me out please,I started with Openweb this month ,the first week exceeded all expectations I had about openweb.The second week was the the dumps ,but as I read here ,there were problems with telkom.My problems however persisted till after they resolved the telkom issues.Then they moved me moved me to a dsl heaven account .

I find it very unstable ,although you get speeds at times I find the experience lacking ,especially with usenet.

Can you please tell me what backbone is bonface and what does VB mean.

VB = Vodacom Business.

I can't speak for the others, but I've had an awesome experience on the VB backbone, especially on Usenet. That is why I was disappointed when I was told that they would be no longer be selling the accounts. I'm glad that they've now decided to continue selling them though! :D

Have you switched back to VB yet? Any more authentication errors?

Haven't had the chance to request a switch back until now.

Yeah last night. They gave me another account on VB, and all is good with the world again :)

This is great news! I too love the vb backbone, and I'm extremely happy to continue to have the choice to use it :)

my account has a .mynetwork ending. What backbone am I on?
 
According to Keoma, no more vb even tho he has agreed to keep it as said in this thread.
 
Well, as far as I know, pings on the IS network is usually excellent. Don't really monitor my pings in online games a lot, but I was playing Diablo 3 this weekend and it hovered around 240-260, which I thought was pretty good.
