Openweb not at work today..???

Paid for a 4GB account last night. They are usually fast to reply, even after hours..

Its now 6:24pm and still no account details. I have mailed them a few times.

What could the problem be?

I dont have a spam folder. :)

Just tried to call openweb.. just rings and rings.

This does not look good.. KEOMA are you still in business?
 
Hate to say it but they are on permanent lunch break.
 
After hours, is after hours. 5 to 5pm, and they are gone. No problems getting hold of them during business hours though. Email support is slightly better than average, but their support page (under construction) needs to be completed pronto.

I personally sent you your account details three times.

Because we do not have an alternative email address listed for you, I asked an agent to call you with the details.

We do offer lunch breaks to our agents, however, they are not permanent.

Our one line is faulty, thus it rings instead of activating the queue, thus it might appear as if we are not there.

I do apologise, Telkom needs to resolve this.

Any progress on the support page MrBeep? It's been under construction for a long time.
 
BEEP BEEP. Pls hurry with that one. You could also expand your FAQ, or give more detailed instructions on how to use/activate a new account etc. Powerusers won't read it, but they wouldn't even read what you have there now. There are people who need more hand holding though the whole process:o

Surely now that you have a few more users, you can justify jazzing up for web page a bit. At the mo, it looks a bit amateurish. Hardly inspiring for new customers. I signed up because it was cheap. That does not mean it has to look cheap.

Otherwise, all is well. Maybe try a sneaky special for us MyBB members?:cool:
 
another person flaming openweb in the subject of their topic! Why not say. Openweb taking long to respond. "Openweb not at work today..???" I personally feel is unacceptable!!!!

That could explain why the phone just rings forever and then someone will answer when you phone again within 2 rings. Was wondering about that, thanks MrBeep :)

Yes I am sarcastic in my posting but my experience of service from the various ISPs I have been with leave a lot to be desired (although Openweb has been top notch when I get through to them!).

So there is a tip for you guys when you phone - if it just rings then hang up and try again. Worked for me yesterday!
