Openweb Uncapped ADSL for R89 per month

Uncapped is a race to the bottom. I won't touch this stuff.

Good quality uncapped is necessarily very expensive because the ISP has to allocate bandwidth on the assumption you will saturate your line at all times. If they don't do this, they must compromise quality, or make a loss. They can't do the latter for very long. Ergo, if you see uncapped that costs less than the line rate multiplied by the amount of time in a month, quality must be compromised in proportion to the discount.

In that case they should rename their package to "mom and dads" package--not uncapped; we here know what that it...
 
I still don't understand why no ISP will offer moms and dads bandwidth on credit.

If people don't want their electricity ever to be cut off, they get a post-paid account. Same should go for bandwidth.

If the problem is that it's too easy to rack up nasty bills for bandwidth, then provide an option for an SMS warning or soft throttling (which can be overridden)...

ISPs are selling ****ty pre-paid "uncapped" products because they can't innovate, not because they're what moms and dads want.
 
no thanks they run of the IS backbone and soon you will be in IS top 20% or top 10 and you will be throttled even more.
