OpenWeb uncapped ADSL sale launched

Could charge R50 a month for 10mb uncapped and I still wouldn't go with OW.

Will probably get Zuma's login at some stage and it will be throttled because he already used all the bandwidth uploading pics of Nkandla

Their cancellation policy is insane as well. Firstly, there is no way to cancel your account in the control panel, you actually have to send them an email to cancel. Secondly, they require a full calendar month's notice to cancel, which means if you cancel on say 10 May, your account will only be cancelled at the end of June, which means you still have to pay for a whole month after you cancel. No other ISP does this.

Telkom works the same way. Full calendar month.
 
I think most of them work like this.

Afrihost gives you until the 25th of the same month to cancel IIRC.

With CW, it depends on the account. Like for my Home Capped it's 1 months notice period.
 
Openweb will on their capped accounts change you for data usage on your peak period for data used in your off peak usage, mainly because they don't have "on the dot" hourly reporting.
I.O.W They will measure you from 11:55 - 0:55 and bill it against the start time and not the actual time. So if you schedule you downloads to run at 00:00 it will still be part of your peak period, and not part of their "claimed" offpeak data.

IS Ignite and Connection.co.za also have the same cancellation policy as Afrihost and Axxess.
