I'm on 1meg Gold Plus (IS) and I have been at home most of this week.
Speed during the day is kuk.
Weird thing is a port reset seemed to have fixed it yesterday.
Today during office hours it's been usable which is great.
I don't mind if p2p only works at night and weekends, but normal surfing and YouTube and windows updates need to work at all times.
I works shifts so I need to be able to surf during office hours.
Thankfully for the last day and a half its been great, and now that it's the weekend I don't for see any issues until at least 7am monday morning. Lol
 
At what time should we be getting better speeds? I don't seem to get any better than about 180kb/s at night. (4m gold on IS)
 
Something not kosher on VB today. Been trying to download something off iTunes and it just won't start. Earlier tried to stream a video and there was no action at all.

Also noticed that my nntp stuff coming down at about high 200s. Oh in fact it now seems that is dead.
 
Eish. My www died 10min ago. VB says pap auth failure.
IS connects but no data transfer.
 
Internet is off. Bad enough that the internet is barely useable during the day, and now its off at night.
 
I can't connect to my VB account at all at the moment. Giving me authentication error. Doubt Keoma is up, emailed him anyway :whistle:
 
Who knows where Keoma lives?

Lets go knock at his door and demand some internet :P, maybe someone triped over a cable . .

I feel the same PearlJam, my Gold Accounts quality has seriously degraded this week, speeds suck during the day and streaming at night all of a sudden I need to buffer when I didnt, a single threaded download I NEVER get full speed anymore, its as if I've been throttled. Yet a speedtest conventiently always gives full speed.

Same, IS is also extremely slow for me at the moment and I also agree on the degration of speed overall this past week. Hopefully things will be better tomorrow, I'm off to bed for the time being :)
 
Well I have tested it.

other IS accounts I've tested. Mweb and Afrihost does not have such heavy shaping during day. I mean to be throttled to 5kbs during the day on a 1mbs line is really *****. Afrihost and mweb got full speed during the day, maybe dropping till 80kbs. But not 5kbs??

Openwebs IS accounts are really getting grind during the day and Keoma is giving it the cold shoulder and not accepting that there is a problem
 
Hmm, my OpenWeb Uncapped Express+ and Afrihost are also down, but my WebAfrica is working.
Must be a problem with IS?
