Nice dude going from 384 to 1 meg is insane. VB back to it's good old self, origin working nntp hammering down full speed :D.

Killa, don't you have any problems loading certain international websites ? Some sites aren't fully working for me :(

Nope going like Boeing :D. I had that issue a few days ago, websites not working, origin wouldn't log in, interwebs was slow but it came right.

Oh ok, well my NNTP is flying at 500-550kb/s at the moment, I can login to Origin, it's just some international sites giving me the problem, local sites work fine. Did send MrBeep some emails to log a fault with VB, I think their DNS servers are a bit borked.

The strange thing though is even when i had major issues nntp always worked at near or full speed.

Wow , been with Openweb just over two weeks. Started off well but for the last week the worst internet speed ever. Suppose to be full 10 mb on weekends but it takes 2 mins for google.com to load. Youtube unusable too.

Streaming on Supersport just went horrible. I must have hit some kind of threshold. IS backbone.

IS standard? 384/1Mb, as soon as you hit the top20% of users you get put into a lower priority group (for a 10 day windows afaik) until you move out. With 4Mb it's the top 50%. That's unfortunately something that IS likes to do :.

Nope near to full speed :D, youtube is working while my downloads going at 300 .

:D

I can almost almost fully stream 360p now.
I was "testing" now now, I managed to do 379MB the last hour.... up from 140MB an hour with 384.... I'm loving it :p

GOLD. But I am pretty sure the same thresholds apply to the GOLD accounts.

No, in my experience Gold does not have those thresholds. I've hit usage of 50% more with Gold compared to Standard.
IS Gold though has been sounding rather shaped, based on user reports.... maybe ask MrBeep to swap you out to another account? Although, make sure you've done the obvious.... restart, reboot your router, etc.

International browsing has been all but dead for me for a few days now, so I hope it comes right soon.

NNTP downloading is perfect though, and my VB Gold account is so good overall that I don't want them to change anything, in case I jinx it :)

But yeah, it is rather frustrating not being able to access international sites...

Try using the following DNS servers:
Code:
Primary 8.8.8.8
Secondary 8.8.4.4

Pretty much the same here, everything else is working perfectly. Except browsing is turd. Don't want to to be moved to another backbone though, so I will keep quiet until it resolves itself.

@Froot

I tried the Google DNS servers myself, yields the same result. MrBeep even reset my port, didn't help either. Guess I'll have to do the same like tigerminx, keep quiet until it resolves itself.

I had the international problem until I went over to the Google DNS servers..... so it's weird that it doesn't work for you.

Just to verify, where did you enter the DNS info, in your router ? Cause I had it in there and on my network properties in Windows and it didn't do squat for me :(
