Gold Uncapped

Hey Friends,

Since Telkom started upgrading accounts to 10Mbps, we have noticed a huge increase in support. We have taken this up with our upstream providers, and all fingers are pointing to Telkom.

Nevertheless, you purchase your account through us, not Telkom, thus we have implemented plans to resolve these inconsistencies.

Redeemer30, I am sure you will be happy with the new product I sent you. krouxsa, may I offer you a test account of our new After Hours Uncapped product for R899? If so, please email me [email protected]

99% of our users are currently very happy with this product, and I believe the teething problems were resolved.

Kind regards
MrBEEP
Hi Mr Beep

I have decied to once again try your gold uncapped 4096 account. Hopefully I won't have the same problems experienced last time. I will surely post them here.
I am awaiting activation.

Youtube isn't so great on my 4MB gold account and I can't seem to login to that IS usage tracking site, does that mean that I'm on a different backbone? How is everybody else's' youtube?

Hi All

I urgently need help. My 4MB connection is with Openweb and I've had very few problems with the account - My problem is not account related but laptop related - my home PC works fine using an ethernet cable to the router (Mega 105WR), but as soon as I get an IP with the laptop, the wireless light starts flashing non-stop with no internet connectivity to the laptop. I uninstalled and re-installed the wireless drivers on the laptop, but no luck.

I cannot understand this as the PC connected to the same router is working perfectly? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thx
Proff

I can't test at the moment but I've never had any problems with Youtube, maybe a bit slow in peak time, but not worth noting.

Today my internet is absolutely horrific. Local is fine, btw.
Youtube usually works fine on my 384 Gold?
Yeah you might be on a different backbone if you can't log into the IS tracking site.

How is newsgroups (like astraweb ect.) on the backbone you are using? I know you're on a 384 but could anyone else on a 4mb comment on the performance of newsgroups on a 4mb gold with the backbone that allows you to access the IS usage tracking?

The local is fine

Had to switch to my Telkom account at 12am, because my openweb account came up with PAP failures on my router, even after rebooting ... frustrating.

ordered an uncapped account there for this month and he said it will be active starting from today but its not active :(

Thanks! But where did you get your account info from? I've only been given like a username (which doesn't end in .co.za neither does it contain '@') and a password that I set, is this my account info? Is there anything I should add to the username or something?

Just a quick test on the new account I got on my 384 Gold.
