Hey Friends,

There was a fault this morning until around 20 minutes ago. A Telkom cable fault.

Could you please reboot your router. If after the reboot, your problem persists, please email me on [email protected] so that we can troubleshoot together.

Have mailed Openweb. I have experienced a throttling at about 50KB/s on my uncapped service today since office hours.

I am on 150KB/s

Keoma has been great in giving feedback when I mail her but my account has been up and down the last week.

The first week on this account was great but now I am not sure I will stay on. I need a solution that works without me having to trouble shoot the whole time.
 
Sigh, my connection is so slow tonight, I can't even open up speedtest.net. It was flying yesterday and this morning and afternoon, but tonight, its almost dead/extremely slow for me on international. :(

IS is having problems, axxess uncapped in bad shape too

Thing is, I'm not on an IS based account with Openweb. Mr. Beep changed my account tot the Openweb ADSL network about a week ago, so it isn't IS related for me, it has to be something else. Have to say, my performance on the Openweb ADSL network was far better than the IS based account.

Ok, I assumed it was IS - hope you get it sorted!
 
Also having wonky speeds @ 50-60KB/s during the day and after about 7pm or so 150-170KB/s max. I just did a speedtest now and almost full line speed. However, some sites I have to refresh 6 times to load.. in bursts. argh.
 
Seems to be a persistent problem. Gets reported, fixed and then comes apart again ...

I understand these uncapped accounts through IS are slower during the day etc; but could you please tell us what speeds we should be getting, what is shaped and when, what we should expect after hours and what is shaped then etc;

I'm very happy with the service thus far though.
