This is the second time this month that I have not been able to get in for hours on end. Keoma currently attributes this to a ghost session on the account, however I cannot verify if is this is correct. According to the isdl stats page I am no longer connected and my previous session has ended.

Even if there is a ghost session, I certainly hope you don't expect me to wait it out for hours while not having access to the account?

This is not an optimal situation, something is not right here and I am (understandably) getting frustrated.

was working perfectly last night...now Authentication error..............grrrrr
 
Anyone on their VB uncapped accounts having issues getting to fnb.co.za and some other sties?

traceroutes stop at 41.0.9.61
 
Pages are loading extremely slow today. Most of my pages need to be refreshed a couple of times before they display correctly and my emails take forever to send even though they only contain text.....
Wish I could go back to last month. Felt so much better. I really hope it gets sorted soon.
 
Just an update on my authentication problem, still can't connect to my account but I am in contact with Keoma so I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this sooner or later.

Anyone else getting high pings to local websites and gaming servers on Gold Uncapped on IS backbone?
Its been jumping from 150ms to 700ms since last night.
 
Definitely the worst day on openweb I have had in the 3 months I have been with them :_: Did MrBeep go on vacation or something? Haven't seen him post for a while or respond to mail
 
Whats better guys? 4MB Shaped Uncapped Gold Or the 4MB Afterhours unshaped?

I'm only home in the evenings and weekends - and on Shaped its not like you can download during the day anyway?

Depends, the Gold accounts run off a few different networks so some networks are more shaped than others. I usually get reasonable speeds on shaped protocols during the day on IS, about one-third to half speed on 384k. But then again after-hours is where I do most of the downloading when it's unsaturated.

The After-hours accounts seem to be rated positive, especially from the guys with 10Mbit connections.
 
Openweb gold 384 uncapped totally useless at the moment. I'm getting local latency of 1394 and down speed of 0.02mb. Joined them 4 days ago, aaaaaargh! Hope this is not the norm, or I will be leaving them in 26 days time! Am I the only one experiencing this?

Overall, the networks are running well currently. Any issues, will be isolated, individual faults that we can resolve together.
 
OK, looking a LOT better now, local ping 109 & downloads a respectable ( for me!) 0.3mb.
 
I have the after-hours account and a 10mb line, and I'm not sure if its because of the problems they are having with routing, but my torrents have been uselessly slow since last night (mostly 2kb/s, sometimes shooting up to 50kb/s after hours). My account at another ISP does over 950kb/s with the same torrents.

I've sent an email and hoping to have it fixed soon :)
I'll post back when it is.
 
MrBEEP. I sent a mail about packet loss a little about an hour ago. Think this test should show why I'm getting the packet loss I am...

When I try to test to NY 'n keep getting errors that the test cannot be completed due to latency
