I have the after-hours account and a 10mb line, and I'm not sure if its because of the problems they are having with routing, but my torrents have been uselessly slow since last night (mostly 2kb/s, sometimes shooting up to 50kb/s after hours). My account at another ISP does over 950kb/s with the same torrents.

I've sent an email and hoping to have it fixed soon :)
I'll post back when it is.

MrBeep has replied and reset my account. I'm back up to full speeds!

MrBeep, any idea why this happens and if it will happen again?
 
Thx MrBEEP. Looks like my problems are pretty much gone. Will test again tomorrow and hope that it stayed that way.
 
Well Keoma got me back on-line with a BSCnet account for now. No conclusive cause of authentication death on my IS account yet, but he said he will attempt to resuscitate..

My words, not his ;)

Just my luck, when things are going really well..
 
Think the network was unstable last night. My downloads got cancelled some time during the night...

Time to give some further feedback.

I bought my OpenWeb Gold 4mb uncapped account at the beginning of the month, and it is worth the extra money! Was on Standard Mweb and OpenWeb for a while, upgraded and cancelled Mweb, best move I couldve made.

Downloaded 180GB's so far this month!

Geez... 180GB and its only the 8th :wtf:

I'm also going to upgrade to 4mb either later this week, or next week, REALLY looking forward to it :D

Whats the OpenWeb standard 4MB uncapped like in comparison to MWeb? Especially in terms of gaming/WoW?
 
Don't know, like I said I also have a Gold account. :) Well I can tell you that on gold the gaming is good, or at least I have had no problems.
 
Anyone else having issues with Gold account at the moment? Mine is completely dead, won't even connect, using my Telkom account currently.
 
openweb must be down cant even send an mail with there smtp server.
 
I'm on normal uncapped...
I'm connected fine but very erratic browsing... having to reload pages multiple times....
 
jip me download on a 4meb doing like max 30 i and it is just when u really need something
 
Is anyone's Gold accounts back on? Mine's been off for 4 hours now, I have emailed OpenWeb but no response....My Telkom account works perfectly...
