Is there any way to increase the speed of torrents on the VB network? I do need the odd thing here and there, and 5KBps aint cutting the cheese nicely :/

Yeah, that flew out the window when I got moved from IS -> VB. The IS server pretty much died anyways.
And no, not keen on spending another $15pm just for some series.

Do what i do then and use trials....
 
so today is the 1st of December. No new log-in details, problems appearing with speeds, and seems mrBeep is on leave. Sent an e-mail to accounts 3 days ago with no reply yet???

Send an email to admin.at.openweb.co.za, I'm sure MrBeep will reply quickly.
Speed-wise, I know there was a major issue yesterday with a cable break or something, but on Telkom's side.

@Wasp_21 - got my details last night from MrBEEP. Great customer service.
Just waiting for the debit order to go off tonight (once hopefully)... Otherwise things are good. Keoma replies very promptly which is always impressive :)
 
Ahhhhhhhh

Just cancelled with Afrihost and went onto Openweb's website to sign up for the Uncapped Standard 8mb...........................................................and it's not available.

There's nowhere on the site that tells you this until you actually click on the order button. We've completely rearranged our internet connections to get this 8mb uncapped account and now I'm all red faced.

Anyone know when this will be available?

I can arrange you 10Mbps Uncapped for R1899

Im afraid however the supplier is not yet ready with 8Mbps

Thanks MrBeep, but I'll just wait. Please check your email because I've just ordered two accounts (4mb Gold and 4mb standard) and have been charged for both but I only have one username.

I will upgrade the one to 8mb when it's available.

I concur.... google maps on VB is really slow, for instance I had to reload the page a few times before it finally loaded completely. Loaded fine though, on my backup account....
