Maybe you should work out a nice package for us MR.BEEP with a no FUP after hours.
 
I haven't really checked my account - so can't comment - will try tonight hopefully,.
 
My speeds aren't looking that great on VB at the moment, hope its just a glitch for the time being, getting no more than 1.7Mb/s on speedtests :(

EDIT: Speeds are back to 4mb again :D

Do the Gold account also have a shaping/throttling window? Getting below 100KB/s on VB - and it definitely looks like shaping/throttling


EDIT: Whats the cancellation policy? Before the 25th? If so, I'll give it to then and see how it does, else cancel.... tired of 'debugging' this.

I'll just go back to capped for a couple of months - hopefully things come right.... definitely not paying R740 for 100KB/s
 
I feel your pain xrapidx, I also got 100KB/s again today, where as the last 2 weeks of December, I got 450KB/s 24/7 no problem. It just since this week monday or sunday morning at 1am the speeds have gone poo again. It is a tiresome job trying to get a constant 400KB/s plus speed 24/7 for R738 a month. I just can't understand why it works lets say for a week without any speed problems, but then the following week, the speeds are inconsitent again. I do think they shape these accounts. I've been checking for the past two mornings before I go to work, as soon as 8:15 am strike, the speeds go from 460KB/s down to a measly 250 and then after about 10-15 mins, drop down to 100-130KB/s and then remain constant at that speed till 16:30, then it picks up again.

I really love Openweb and the effort that Mr.Beep puts in, but if my speeds are up and down like this for the next 3 months, I'll rather downgrade to a normal uncapped account, but... I'll persist for now.
 
Well its almost 9 - and I'm doing 100KB/s... does not bode well for my future with this account.
