Coming from a capped account, I must say I had far less hassles. Not a great start to an uncapped experience...

Afraid not :(

If you go to your browser's network settings, where it asks what proxy you'd like to use, if it's on "automatically detect" try setting it to "No Proxy?"

I'm running out of ideas :o

I'm quite over this. I think I'll call them tomorrow but for now, I'll just use my ol trusted account :)

International feeling better now. Looks like full download speed is back and international latency seems to be fixed again.

Well, I'm on IS and everything seems fine. Even been able to play a little bit of WoW

Yeah getting less than 10K on anything but YouTube here, 5000ms on WoW and Steam doesnt even load... Switched to Afrihost which is fine since they are with IS too not sure what it is...

I the the openweb GOLD 384k. I best speeds so far from IS ftp is 12kb/s. Youtube is out the question. Keyboard F5 key is fading away due to all the pages refreshes i have to do.

How do you check if you are being punished and sent to the 'abusers' corner on your openweb account?

Might be the end of the month drops of bandwidth.

Just hope it is better from tomorrow. If not, I'll send same port reset e-mail I sent every 2 weeks.

Nothing wrong with Afrihost or telkom accounts

Speeds are not dependent on how much you download on the Gold package, drop a mil to [email protected] he usually sorts it out.

My account has been doing wonderfully this month... browsing is slow at times, but downloads fly... hence my infrequent visits to this thread :p

Well luckily a port reset fixed it right up:

Wow slower than 96% of South Africa with those figures... just makes you wonder what the other 4% are using....pigeons?

Haha, true. Must be an anomaly because I doubt it's even possible to get speedtest to load at less than 0.02Mbps.
