Hi

I upgraded to a 4meg line and was deciding which ISP to go with thinking of openweb (had them before as an ISP)

now it is down between two packages

The 4meg Standered uncapped R539

or the after-hours uncapped R899

The After Hours is much more expensive is it worth the extra ?
Also how much data have users used on these accounts?

Any other packages/isp are welcome to

Thanks

Why not gold uncapped at R738? From forum comments this seems better than the two options you mentioned. After-hours uncapped is pretty useless during weekdays (8am-8pm), but very good after hours. However, there is now a FUP of 200GB on these after-hours accounts, after which shaping will kick in. You have to pay another R300 to remove the FUP. Doesn't seem worth it.

I have a 10mb line and the uncapped after hours package!!!! It is superb!!! Did over 300gb's in October with very little effort. Unshaped, uncapped from around 7pm-7am and all weekend. I rate it highly!!!

This is what's attainable on these accounts...

What connection do you have?

Its taken me since last week till today to do 12GB on MWEB (4MB)
4mb line recently upgraded to 10mb, line rental through Cybersmart (R385 per month including 3gb capped bandwidth). During office hours I use an Afrihost capped account, currently at R475 for 100gb which runs at line speed. After hours I use the Openweb after hours uncapped account which also runs at line speed. R1759 per month all in so double what you paying with MWEB (including line rental etc) but it is bliss!!! 12GB is doable in less than 4 hours....

Was thinking of of using cybersmart for the line but after reading there T&C I was put off to many rules.
It should be my decision if I want to use two accounts or if I want to use two ISPs

What do you guys think does this mean that if i go with this I cannot dial different PPPOE connections to different ISPs
