Please provide feedback. I have tested the account I have provided you with and am getting a much better torrent download.

I can add however, you did signup for a Shaped service, that was clearly advertised as such. I am giving you a less shaped account at no extra charge.
 
Well, this thread was interesting. Judging by the dude's name, I'd say he's a unfriendly fellow and I would have run out of patience by now with him.

People like this always strike me as people who have a poor sexual life, would I be right in assuming this? People at my work like this...

I hope for your sake, MrBeep Sir, that you don't get a whole load of people complaining now to get a less shaped account. And that he wasn't doing this on purpose to get some kind of freebie.
 
I agree with you Adrenalin.

This dud buys a shaped account, then insults my favourite (YES, BIASED OR NOT, MY FAVOURITTTTTEEEEEE) ISP because they arent getting good torrent downloads. That is seriously a WTF moment.

Indeed. South African law is finicky when it comes to piracy. A whole world of legal torrents are out there. Have you ever heard the phrase public domain?
I will use small words so you can understand:) 50 years after a person that writes a book dies all his books are then free. Slightly different rules applies to movies software and games. All these are shared in torrents.

i am getting 23kb/s on my 4mb line much better than the 0kb/s-0.6kb/s i have been getting

I seriously hope that MrBeep solves your problem Idi. Generally I also don't like people like you coming on mybb and then run your mouth and saying OW is the worst ISP ever, just because you don't get good download speeds. Tell MrBeep what you want and he can then make a recommendation based on what of downloads you do and then supply you with an account that you'll be happy with.

You're entitled to your own opinion, however, myself and lots of other people are happy with the service I have received from OW and from MrBeep himself. I have emailed him countless times since uncapped became a reality earlier this year and till today, he has responded to every single email I have sent him (and I have emailed him at least 30-40 times), he even contacted me via email from his side whenever he saw if I experienced a problem here on mybb.

Just be a bit patient, calm down and let him work his magic, like he always does :)
 
In practical terms it means that you can take a book who's author has dies 50 years ago and reprint it and sell it without royalties. A movie distribution company Criterion Collection is doing the same thing with movies that have fallen into the public domain. So yes torrents do have a legal content.

I may just not be used to the fact that Openweb takes their time to respond to problems. Mr BEEP tried to explain away why they didnt attend to it in a timely manner. He lied on here giving reasons why he didnt respond earlier. Proof is he responded to my email almost the same time he responded on my post here.
 
So now that you're getting improved performance will you be sticking with the "Worst ISP ever"?
