Hey Friends,

Seacom bandwidth is ready. Network is ready. Telkom is not. (As some folks indicated, we would probably scream 'Telkoms Fault!' Unfortunately, when you are dealing with an incompetent company, there is no point in blaming someone else.

They have failed to meet every deadline set.

I think the best thing to do is to announce to the users WHEN the products become available. As we cannot put our name to an ETA when Telkom does not understand the meaning of the phrase.

Do you have anything to say to those about to sign a 2 year deal with Neotel for an unlimited package?

Best of luck with that, I know you guys will do a great job once you have the bandwidth :D
 
This is a personal choice.

It is however never advised for a home user, or small business to sign a contract for internet. There are many other options available, thus signing a contract is not necessary.

Telkom is shocking. This is getting annoying.

I would really have liked to have changed over to the openweb uncapped offering next month.

Thanks for keeping us informed MrBEEP. If there are any further devlopements, e.g. a telkom van arrives at your front door, please let us know. :)
 
Whats going on with this? I heard these accounts should have been available by now? WTF is going in openweb?

yep, we are at the end of the month and still no news from openweb. i hate it when they say, will let you know when its done.
