Ja, for the next five minutes... these things change so quickly. The next version of FF will be the fastest for five minutes after that. Seriously. Just get a browser (or more than one) that you are happy with and stick with it. :)

Description
Marcin Ressel has discovered a vulnerability in Opera, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing HTTP responses having a malformed "Content-Length" header. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via an overly large 64-bit "Content-Length" value, having the higher 32-bit part negative.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 10.50 for Windows. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Do not browse untrusted websites or follow untrusted links.

* Been using this "Final" 10.50, and have to say, as much as I praised Opera in the past, this is buggy, far from finished as feels like a beta release. And I do not seem to be alone in this thinking. I have to resort to 10.10 just to do some things because 10.50 borks! And then I read the above.

* sigh * All for the title of Speeeeeeeeeeeeediest.

Try printing a web-page with Opera--the fonts are warped and does not honor the page settings if there is a image on the page. Firefox and Chrome do this extremely well. My only gripe with Opera. Otherwise, speed wise--this is depends--if you have a cool and fast connection, modern browsers will be very close to each other.

Oh, jah, did I mention the Omnibox in Chrome just rock! I also love the predictive site finder when typing in Chrome Omnibox--beat that.

Opera is great for me when on the road or not at home and I need to stay connected...

The compression works wonders too for your 3G usage

exactly, i don't get what the fuss is about...

rather get one with a UI you like, plug-in support if you need that, and security.
