Codemasters has confirmed that console owners will get a taste of the much anticipated military simulator

I hope they don't dumb it down for console kids. All that time and effort wasted on making a console version when they could be refining the game for their support base on PC

Yeah, as opposed to the clearly superior intelligence needed to play the PC version.

I've been a PC gamer and still am, but my preference is undoubtedly with consoles these days.

Console = ease of use, trimmed of unneccesary fat.

PC = archaic and cluttered.

Aiming with a controller lol. Your average run and gun fest maybe but it isn't exactly conducive for playing OF.

I say try before you judge. I was accustomed to playing FPS's on PC. Now i'm accustomed to a controller.
An hey, who knows, they might even allow for the support of a mouse/kb setup on the consoles for those mentally not capable of learning a new control scheme/mechanism.

I say screw the console,

I have played on consoles and wont waste my tine or money again.
A pc is ...... wel ..... a pc
So much more a versatile thing to have and if you have trouble playing something you might only have to upgrade 1 part as with a console you have to buy a new one.

and the games are incredibly expensive

OF is a pc title and so should stay true to the pc (better graphics potential and gameplay)

The console version will def not beat the PC version - but at the same time, I hope they do the port well enough, I hate console to PC ports, always FUBAR.

But maybe the PC to console version port will be better.

Oh, btw... PC FTW!
