Oprah's interview with Luis Suarez

Right after her special "physical assault on the football pitch" featuring interviews with Eric Cantona and Roy Keane

Alanis Morissette will be performing her hit "Hand in my pocket"

would be a handy interview.

despite being a liverpool fan, suarez's antics do bother me. i think he is a good enough player that he doesn't need to try and push the envelope to get more fouls etc. the goal in the fa cup caused a huge uproar, all aimed at suarez. funny how nobody attacked the officials. the linesman, ref and goal line gimp all had clear line of sight, and if none of those 3 flagged it, then they all interpreted it as ball to hand, not hand to ball. having defended that one incident, i am a huge opponent of diving. i think that any player who is caught diving, simulating, or in any way trying to influence a game by 'cheating' should be given a lengthy suspension. its not just suarez, its most pro footballers. they fall down as if a sniper shot them, don't get the decision, suddenly by a miracle, they are cured and get up and run off. that's feigning an injury to try to push the ref to give a yellow. its cheating.

i say use the rugby system, where players can be cited after the game for misbehaviour, and be brutal with the punishment.

Bad joke.
I know.
Sorry Liverpool fans.
But I just couldn't resist.

Agreed. I'm sick to death of watching a bunch of "men" throwing themselves to the ground and flopping about in an attempt to get someone else booked. Utter disgrace. FIFA is constantly on about fair play so they should try and make an effort and eradicate this nonsense in pursuit of fair play.

I jumped ship to Everton when Suarez joined. No jokes. Gerrard was bad enough, but an out and out cheat... no ways.

If you are supporting Everton now, than its highly unlikely that you were ever an Liverpool fan.

You can believe what you want to believe. I didn't grow up in Liverpool so naturally I won't hold the loyalties they do.

"If Everton were playing at the bottom of the garden, I'd pull the curtains." - Bill Shankly

"In my time at Liverpool we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside, Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves." - Bill Shankly

On one of Liverpools European trips, Shankly was filling in the hotel registration form where he wrote Football for occupation and Anfield for the address.

"Sir, said the receptionist, you need to fill in where you live.
"Lady", he replied, "in Liverpool there is only one address that matters and that is where I live."
