Im using oracle 9i. I want to create a database for a car sound sell/install small business. its for a varsity project. The problem i have is when a customer comes to do either a install or simply buying a product from the business, how would i go about creating tables for this scenario. Can one use one table to determine weather its an install or sale, and if so how would i go about doing that? (English second language)

Maybe have one field that either uses a number (with lookup table), or directly states "Install", "Sale", etc.

Simplest structure would have 3 tables

Customers
Products
Invoice

The products table would have all the things you sell including services such as installing.

The invoice table would then store each product you sold to a customer, one of which would be the cost of installing the products you sold

An Oracle website can determine one or more program staff to administrate a particular program. Each program can have its own manager.
