Oracle unveils enterprise blockchain service

hmmm... are they going to have an ICO or something along those lines?

I wonder if they are going to use their own network, or piggy-back off Siacoin or one of the others that are already up and running?

Why would they want an ICO if they are selling software that already brings them in money? ICO's are usually for folk who have no money that needs investors.

re: piggy-back, it's Oracle, so no, I don't think they will piggy-back off of anyone in an effort to control the security of their blockchain and customers. The Hyperledger project does seem to hint towards some sort of cross-platform compatibility, but I'm not sure if that is "cross blockchain" or just something they can slap in the middle of all their current software to make them automagically compatible with the blockchain functionality or not
