Ordered ADSL through Afrihost - do you still need to do Telkom activation?

When ordering ADSL through an ISP (i.e. only phone line previously), do you still need to verify line on Telkom website to activate?

It's been a long time since i've had to activate a line via the telkom website. It's "plug and play" these days.

We just signed up for ADSL under Afrihost too- we had to verify the line in order to synch to the router.

Where did you get the order number from? Or does it just work with telephone number?
