Did they pay someone to program this Origin Turd?
I bought the game, I can install and play off the disks but not log onto Autolog servers.
Origin sees the game as installed, want to patch it a massive 15.4GB??? Basically a redownload.
I finally uninstalled the retail version and started the download.
I come back and at 4,1GB it paused itself for no reason. Restart and guess what? It starts downloading a 1GB again.

Checking Origin forum seem to indicate that only thing to do is to let it download. Its something affecting FIFA12 users too.
Anyone else gotten around this?

When I installed BF3, Origin showed that it was going to download a huge amount as well, but when it started the downloads it read most of the stuff it needed from the DVD, which was still in my drive, and in the end the actual internet bandwidth used was only a fraction of what Origin was showing as 'downloaded'.

Thanks for assist, I had to download whole game from Origin to make it work. And being with IS it was a stop start affair as Origin automatically pauses for no good reason.

With regards to Origin games, disable your network connection and the game will hang for a bit and then revert to the DVD for install.

Okay so this officicially sucks. I re installed from Origin. The game play BUT still no Autolog connection. Says I need to be connected to Origin which I am. I can even access Origin ingame. I have 2 copies of this bloody game and we cant get Multiplayer to work. I even got an unshaped account from another ISP.

Oh so all GPU's are frame locked at 30fps. phew I thought my GPU was getting raped. I have a problem launching NFS The Run. It wont launch anymore.

Jip, even the guys with dual display SLI setups get to experience Frostbite 2 in this console port at a choppy 30fps.

Why is this an issue?

Serious? Playing a fast paced racing game at 30FPS is not my idea of fun. In fact, playing any game on PC at 30fps is horrible.
