aggg thats rubbish

most anti virus's work

my cell work no probs and no software install needed

if hardware does not work on vista 64 i doubt it will work on vista 32 bit

its your call but vista 64 bit and vista 32 work exactly the same cept that 64 bit is better, runs faster

dont listen to all the ppl who have problems, because vista 32 will be just as big a problem

personally i downloaded vista 64 and tried it, then bought it and its the best OS i have ever worked on

everything in my pc runs well, granted all my pc is never older than a year though

I'll take your word for it then, yea 64 should be better anyway since it's future proof unlike 32.
;)

I installed vista 32bit the week that it was released and it lasted less than a week on my pc. It was the biggest **** to hit my hard drive since tubgirl.

Last week I decided to install it again to see if its any better now and oh my what an improvement . It still took some tuning(about 5 pages of stuff) but now its pretty decent. Decent enough to say that this pc will not run XP again :D

Its good to see that M$ is doing something about all the complaints and bad reviews.

That's why I'll consider installing it again :)

dont consider beanie u noobcake :)

do it man

come over to the vista side of life :)

I already have it installed on one of my machines, but I see no compelling reason to install it on my main PC instead of Windows XP... But, as I said, I'll consider it ;)

lol you sound like you work in the Microsoft marketing dept

i dont, its just i use vista and like most of buddies we love it

there is nothing really different about vista but there is just something awesome about it :)

you have to use it to grow to love it

I love Vista.

It just lewks and work great if you have a good rig.

I've been using Vista since before the Retail hit (I'm talking RC1 and RC2).

A few guide lines that many people miss and then blame on Vista. (actually most of it is obvious, but you never know)

Make sure ALL your software is updated - Examples of this Daemon Tools, Nero enc - if you use old ones they don't like vista much. I think you need from Nero 7.3 onward (under correction).

DO all your BIOS and Driver Updates.

If older software doesn't want to work use the Compatibility shell: (Click Help and Support, Type in Compatibility and select Option 4 (Start Program compatibility wizard)). This should solve any old installer issues - I got my Icewind dale 1 and 2 to work like this.

Vista is extremely Stable (built on server 2008 base) - You'll learn to love it. All so once you get into the guts of it (like the Computer management console) you learn to love it. It actually Saves ANY changes to your system both what you change, as well as Software and hardware changes - and this way you can easily diagnose any problems that pop up.

All so the first month or so, Vista pre-caches all your most used software, so initial performance will be slightly delayed, but once all your commonly used programs are saved EVERYTHING loads faster.

Have fun using vista if you get it.

(BTW - SP1 for Vista will raise memory support to 3.5 and a possible 4 GB)

yea but im sure one day 32 bit linux will be able to run games :)

no point having 64 gb of ram to run office and the internet
