Osama bin Laden Dead: Obama

I don't think this is the end of al Qaeda, but it's a severe blow for them and very good news all the same.

I'm sorry, but I have read too widely and too many works by serious academics and analysts (I am not counting conspiracy theorists) to believe that bin Laden had anything to do with 9/11. Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda are proud terrorists, and would have proudly claimed ownership of 9/11. Instead, they have commended the "martyrs" involved in 9/11, but have never claimed to be part of it, or to have master-minded it.

To believe that Al-Qaeda is behind 9/11 is to believe the earth is flat, or that the moon-landing was false. The Americans had to kill Bin Laden, lest the truth come out. They could not take him alive.

So bin Laden is dead (maybe). Good-bye and good riddance. But it's no joy that his life was taken by yet another deadly terrorist imperialist group.

How do you know he wasn't? please provide links of the articles read so we can review the credentials / affiliations of such authors.
