Ostrich steak is amazing. They sell it at woolies, I have'nt had it in a while but im sure they still sell it. There are two types though at woolies.. one is Way better than the other, not sure which one. Just try both. Its delicious.♥

Have you looked at the price of the fillets? R120/kg here. No way. I have not seen ostrich neck here for months. That is a good and healthy alternative to oxtail. Tastes the same and kooks quicker.

Yes but when you buy beef fillet you buy it with the fat. you also must take the health into consideration

Fillet is the leanest possible cut of beef available. The fat is negligible and you must remember that if cooked correctly, fat will produce fantastic flavour in meat...
